Privacy Policy

Short version: to run a Minecraft server we have to know your Minecraft username and UUID and see your IP address. If you buy something, Tebex handles the payment and passes us your username, your UUID and your email. We do not sell any of it, and we will delete what we can on request.

1. What we collect, and why

When you play

Minecraft username and UUID	The UUID is how the server knows which account owns which rank, balance, claim, home and playtime. It is unavoidable — Minecraft itself is built on it.
IP address	Written to the server log on every connection. Used to enforce bans, spot alt accounts evading a ban, and diagnose lag. Not used for advertising and never sold.
Chat messages and commands	Logged so moderators can act on reports of harassment, scams and advertising.
Block edits, container access, deaths, logins	Recorded by our anti-grief tooling so a griefed build can be rolled back and a thief identified.
Playtime, in-game balance, ranks, votes, claims, homes	The gameplay itself.
Your in-game position	Shown on our public live map while you are online. Standing in a hidden base does not hide you from it — assume anything you build above ground is visible.

When you buy something

Checkout is operated by Tebex Limited, the merchant of record. Tebex collects your email address, your payment details and your Minecraft username, and handles the card transaction under their own privacy policy.

We never receive or store your card number. What reaches us is the Minecraft username, the resolved UUID, the package bought, the transaction id, and the email address on the order — enough to deliver the package and to answer a support or refund request.

When you visit this store page

This page is a static site on GitHub Pages. It sets no cookies, has no advertising and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Two honest caveats:

GitHub serves the page, so GitHub sees the request, including your IP address.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address when the page loads.

If you join our Discord

Discord is a separate service with its own privacy policy. If you link your Discord account to your Minecraft account for rewards or verification, we store the pairing of your Discord user id to your Minecraft UUID and nothing else.

2. Who your data is shared with

Tebex — payments, tax and receipts (merchant of record).
Our hosting provider — the machine the server and its database run on.
Server list sites you vote on — when you vote, that site tells our server your username so the reward can be paid. We send them nothing.
Mojang / Microsoft — the server verifies your account with Mojang's session servers at login.
Law enforcement — only where we are legally required to respond.

We do not sell your data, rent it, or hand it to advertisers or data brokers. There is nothing to sell.

3. How long we keep it

Account and gameplay data (UUID, ranks, balance, claims, homes) — for as long as the account exists on the server, so that you keep what you earned.
Purchase records — kept while we may need them for support, refunds, chargebacks and tax records. Tebex holds its own copy under its own retention rules.
Server logs, chat logs and anti-grief history — kept for moderation. We are moving these onto a rolling window with an automatic prune; until that is in place, treat them as retained.
Backups — world and database backups are rotated. A deletion request is applied to the live data immediately; older backups age out on their own rotation.

4. Children

The server is for players aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 is playing, email us and we will remove the account and its data. Purchases by under-18s need the card-holder's permission — see the Terms and Refund Policy.

5. Your choices and rights

Email support@minthavenmc.com from the address on your order, or ask in-game and then confirm by email, and you can:

ask what we hold about your account and get a copy;
correct something that is wrong;
have your account data deleted — note this removes your ranks, balance, claims and homes, and it is not reversible;
block your account from future purchases, which we will keep in force until you ask us to lift it;
object to a specific use of your data, and we will either stop or explain why we cannot.

We aim to answer within 3 business days and to complete a deletion within 30 days. Two things we cannot delete: moderation records tied to an active ban (deleting them would defeat the ban) and records we must keep for a completed payment.

6. Security

The store is served over HTTPS. Server and database credentials are held by the operator only. We are a small team on rented infrastructure, not a bank — do not reuse a password you care about anywhere connected to a game server, here or elsewhere.

7. Changes

Changes are published on this page with a new date at the top, and anything material is announced in our Discord.
