Terms of Service

Plain version: MintHaven is a Minecraft server run by a small independent team. When you buy something here you are buying a virtual in-game entitlement — not an object you own, and not real currency. Purchases are processed by Tebex, who are the merchant of record. If a purchase does not arrive, we refund it in full.

1. Who these terms are between

“MintHaven”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of the MintHaven MC Minecraft server and of this store at store.minthavenmc.com. “You” means the person connecting to the server or buying a package. By connecting to the server or completing a purchase you accept these terms.

MintHaven is an independent, fan-run server. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB. You need your own valid Minecraft account to play, and Mojang's own EULA and Minecraft Usage Guidelines apply to you on top of these terms.

2. Connecting to the server

Access is a revocable licence, not a right. We may restrict or end access to the server or to any feature at any time, including for the reasons in section 8.

3. Purchases and the merchant of record

All payments are taken by Tebex Limited, who act as the merchant of record for every package sold here. That means Tebex — not MintHaven — is the seller of record for the transaction, handles the payment, applies any sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt. Tebex's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself.

We never see or store your card number. See our Privacy Policy for what data does reach us.

4. What you are actually buying

Every package on this store is a virtual in-game entitlement tied to your Minecraft account on the MintHaven server: a rank, a crate key, or claim blocks. It is:

a licence, not property — you get the use of it on our server, nothing more;
not a currency, security, investment or tradeable asset, and it has no cash value;
non-transferable — it stays on the account it was bought for, and it cannot be sold on;
not a physical good — nothing is shipped.

Package contents, perks, prices and drop tables can change as the server is balanced. We will not remove a perk you have already paid for without offering something of at least equal value in its place. If the server closes permanently, entitlements end with it — buy with that in mind.

5. Delivery

Delivery is automatic and normally lands within a minute of payment. Ranks and claim blocks apply to the Minecraft username you enter at checkout; crate keys go into that account's key balance. If you are online when the purchase completes you may need to rejoin the server to see it.

Enter your username carefully. Delivery goes to the name you typed. If you mistype it, email us — we will move the entitlement to the right account once we can confirm both accounts are yours.

6. Refunds

A failed or missing delivery is refunded in full. Beyond that, our full policy — including the statutory cancellation right for digital content, duplicate purchases, and purchases made by a child on a parent's card — is set out on the Refund Policy page. Nothing on this store limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived by agreement.

7. Chargebacks

Please email support@minthavenmc.com before you contact your bank — almost every dispute we see is a delivery problem we can fix in minutes. If a payment is reversed by chargeback, the entitlement it paid for is removed and the account may be restricted from further purchases while the dispute is open.

8. Conduct on the server

Not allowed, and grounds for a mute, kick or permanent ban:

cheat clients, x-ray, macros, autoclickers or any modification that gives an unfair advantage;
exploiting duplication bugs, or abusing an economy bug instead of reporting it;
griefing, stealing from claims, or bypassing claim protection;
harassment, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, threats, or doxxing;
advertising other servers, scamming other players, or selling in-game items for real money;
alt accounts used to farm rewards, evade a ban, or stack vote rewards.

A ban for breaking these rules does not entitle you to a refund of packages already delivered. Bans can be appealed — the appeal address is shown on the ban screen and in our Discord.

9. Age, and spending sensibly

You must be at least 13 to play, and old enough to hold the payment method you use. If you are under 18 you must have the card-holder's permission before you buy anything.

We would rather you spent less than you can afford. As guidance we suggest keeping total spend on MintHaven under $25 in any month, and we would rather refund an impulse purchase than keep money a household did not mean to spend — see the Refund Policy. Parents and guardians can email support@minthavenmc.com to have an account blocked from future purchases; we will action it and it stays in force until you tell us otherwise.

10. Where crate keys are not sold

Crate keys are a randomised-reward item. Paid randomised rewards are treated as gambling in some places, so crate key packages are not offered to buyers in Belgium, or in any other country where paid randomised in-game rewards are prohibited. Ranks and claim blocks are fixed contents and are unaffected.

Crate keys can also be earned in-game without paying — through voting, playtime and events — and the published odds for every crate are the same whether the key was bought or earned.

11. Availability

We aim to keep the server up, but it is run on rented hardware and there will be restarts, downtime and the occasional rollback from a backup. We do not promise uninterrupted service and we do not compensate for downtime. We do not intentionally roll back player progress; if we have to restore a backup after data loss, we say so publicly in Discord.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the server changes. The date at the top always shows the current version, and material changes are announced in our Discord. Continuing to play or buy after a change means you accept the updated terms.
